thought process

a day passes
and so many things change
so at first it seems
yet on second thought
not really
I don't even know what I mean
do I truly have a hold on things
one may hope...
but all you can do is offer your best
and to thine own self be true
you can't control the universe
or even the one next to you
just continue to give positivity
and you should receive it too
